Jacquelyn Jackson, CSCS, NSCA-CPT

Jacquelyn is a native of Oklahoma City, where she spent her entire youth active in Basketball, Softball, and Track & Field.

Her competitive nature and love of fitness led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Health & Sport Sciences from the University of Oklahoma.

Jacquelyn has been a member of the National Strength & Conditioning Association in 2001. Through this organization she has been a Certified Personal Trainer since 2002 and a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist since 2004. She is also a Certified Group Exercise Instructor through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America.

As a personal trainer, Jacquelyn utilizes a variety of techniques and concepts in her training sessions with emphasis on improving muscular endurance, core strength, flexibility and providing nutritional counseling.

 

She now brings her vision of "Triple Fit" to Chicago, Illinois. Her daily driving force is motivating her clients' to live and love life through her tri-fold philosophy to "Look. Feel. Be."

Finally!

Over the years, I have worked with several trainers, and I had never felt truly comfortable around any of them, until I met Jackie.  I have worked with Triple Fit consistently for over a year and a half, and I can honestly say that I feel a lot better than I did when I started.  When I first met her, she did a complete assessment, including fitness level, exercise and nutritional habits, and goals – something that other trainers had not done.  The workouts we do are challenging and different.  She routinely gets me to do things that I had never thought possible.  Since working out with her I am noticeably stronger, leaner and more confident.  As a result, I find myself doing things that I never thought I would – including zip-lining through a Costa Rican rainforest!  Jackie looks at you as a person, and provides the right amount of encouragement and support.  I actually look forward to my work-outs, something I’d never thought I’d say.

I just recently had my first child at the beginning of the summer.  Up until the day I had her, I was working out with Jackie.  I consider myself so fortunate because I had a wonderful pregnancy and an easy recovery, both of which I attribute to my working with Jackie.  It was important for me to be in good shape before I became pregnant because I felt this would help me throughout my pregnancy.  Jackie designed a program that really developed my core strength, hence I didn’t experience the uncomfortable back pain most pregnant women complain about.  During my pregnancy Jackie continued to research exercises appropriate to the different trimesters, knowing more about how to take care of my body than I did.  Up until the day I gave birth, I felt strong and was able to move around with ease.  My recovery was the same.  The personal care and attention given to me by Jackie helped me get back into shape quicker than I could ever imagine.  She would check in with me before developing my work out plan, again doing the research to find out which exercises were appropriate depending on the feedback I gave her.  I’ve had such a positive experience as a new mom because I feel strong and energetic, just as I did throughout my pregnancy and I thank Jackie for taking care of me throughout this whole process.
