Jacquelyn Baston, LMT, CSCS, NSCA-CPT, CYT

Jacquelyn is a motivator, an athlete and an entrepreneur who inspires those around her to reach their full fitness potential. Her mission is to educate and influence others to adopt a healthy lifestyle. She began her fitness enthusiasm as a young student athlete playing basketball, softball, and running track. The desire to further understand health and human performance evolved throughout her college studies and she received her Degree in Health & Sport Sciences from the University of Oklahoma. In college, she also served as a student athletic trainer.
Jacquelyn is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). She is also a Hardstyle Kettlebell Certified (HKC) Instructor, Certified Spinning® Instructor and Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT). In addition to her fitness credentials, Jacquelyn is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). Jacquelyn understands that the foundation of a healthy lifestyle includes education, so she has also worked as an instructor with the National Personal Training Institute (Chicago, IL) and has written fitness columns for numerous publications.
In 2007, she founded her company Triple Fit, Inc. in Chicago, IL., with the mission of helping her clients and larger audiences achieve and maintain their health and fitness goals. Whether she is helping an athlete take their game to the next level as a Strength & Conditioning Coach for Develop the Athlete, LLC, or helping an individual live a healthier life with personal training, yoga, and massage therapy, she believes that anyone can benefit from a wellness regimen, regardless of age or athletic ability.
Personally, she continues to stay active as a marathon runner and future tri-athlete. While Jacquelyn keeps challenging herself, she aims to motivate others to enjoy a well-rounded life through her personal philosophy to “look fit, feel fit, and be fit.”
Maceo Baston, a Dallas, TX native, played college basketball at the University of Michigan. During his college career, he was known for his exceptional dunking ability and was a standout defensive player.
He was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in 1998, but due to a lock-out year, he began his professional basketball career with the Continental Basketball League’s Quad City Thunder from 1998-2000, where he was honored as an All-Star in 2000.
Maceo had a brief stint with the Milwaukee Bucks before entering the Euroleague, playing for Montecatini, Italy, Badalona (Barcelona), Spain and Maccabi Tel Aviv, Israel, where he was a 3-time Euroleague Champion.
He returned to the NBA in 2006 and played for the Toronto Raptors, under legendary coach Lenny Wilkens, as well as the Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons.
Various awards and accomplishments throughout his 13-year professional career included – Defensive Player of the Year, All-Euroleague Team and multiple MVP and Player of the Month awards before retiring and entering the business world.
A lifelong athlete with a true love of the game, Maceo takes pride in helping young players craft their skills at a young age.
My generation was more active, but without the high-tech information age. I didn't have a big entourage or the same resources for guidance. I had to figure out how to improve my own skills. I improved my jump shot and my perimeter skills on my own, so I felt like I was self-made in a lot of ways. My aim is to preserve a grassroots work ethic in up and coming athletes, combined with developing fundamental techniques, essential for pursuing a successful career in the game.

Workouts with Coach Baston have helped me to focus on all the small details that come with the game of basketball. Whether it be on the court or in the weight room, I have learned to be consistent with my intensity and my attention to detail.

I’ve been going to Jackie two times a week for over three years and she is consistently able to give me a great workout that is never boring. She is completely accommodating of any last minute schedule changes and works with you to find a workout that meets your needs. On top of being a very talented trainer she is also a very kind person that will do everything in her power to ensure that her clients enjoy their sessions. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Coach Maceo is one of the nicest men I have ever met. We’ve been working out for 5 months plus and now I can shoot better and run faster. We are working on my jumping ability, post game, mid range game, agility, strength, and conditioning. Sometimes I’ve said to myself I am blessed to work out with him and he devotes his time everyday trying to help me get better, on and off the court.

I had the most amazing workout experience seeing Jackie. She takes the time to customize workouts to you and inspires all around healthy living. She has helped make working out a part of my daily routine and the best part of my day!
In just a few months of seeing Jackie, I am the strongest and most fit I've ever been. I never could have made this much progress or learned to maintain this lifestyle without Jackie.
